U9 Coach – Corey Fantuz
Corey has worn many hats at Altona City over the past five years including board member, managing club apparel and coaching the Mini Roos U5s through to U8s.
As a coach, Corey’s driven to create an ambitious and successful team. His focus is on development, enjoyment and bringing out the best in players in a fun learning environment.
His learning strategy is to teach players the core skills and strategies while using questioning techniques and conversation to support growth and understanding.
Corey’s U8s team achievements this year were amazing – 2 winners trophies, 4 runners up and 2 semi-finals. Season 2020 is going to be another great year with Corey.
U12 Coach – John Sultana
Great news! John is back and is coaching our U12s in 2020.
In 2019, John did a marvelous job culminating in a fantastic Shepparton tournament.
A great club man, in the past John has often coached multiple teams. This coming year he will concentrate on the U12 group and we wish him all the very best.
John is undertaking his C License in November so he will be eager to implement his great ideas and unleash his enthusiasm in 2020.
U13 Coach – Omar Bradford
Omar has always been an enthusiastic coach with his team. He’s also very popular with our parents.
His philosophy is to develop the squad in a team culture – a ‘one-in-all-in’ perspective sees his team of players come together as friends.
Omar will obtain his C License accreditation in 2020. We are so happy to see Omar back for next season with the U13 group.
U14 Coach – Joe Falzon
Joe is back for another year in 2020. After winning the league in 2018, he took theU14s to a credible and competitive 4th place in 2019.
Joe has a huge commitment and enthusiasm for his players and the team. He will undertake his C License accreditation in the off-season and we look forward to his fresh ideas and knowledge in 2020.
U16 Girls – Anthony Tanti
For the past three years, Anthony has been involved in the girl’s team at Altona City.
He’s passionate about our female football program and is looking forward to delivering a great program for the team.
We wish Anthony and the U16 girls’ team football enjoyment, fun and success for 2020.
U13 Girls – Frank Armeri and Adrian Denys
It’s great to have Frank taking on board an eager bunch of girls with Ada (Adrian) back and assisting at ACSC.
Our female girls’ teams are excited about season 2020 with plenty of great players. Under the coaching direction of Frank and Adrian, we know they’ll have an amazing year.
