Return to Training Guidelines

Updated to reflect the new guidelines for community sports as at 25 June 2020

Altona City Soccer Club has updated its Stage 2 – Return to Training Guidelines to reflect the latest updates from Football Victoria as of  25 June 2020.
The major changes to note are- 
  • Full contact training now allowed for players under 18 and younger. 
  • Competitive matches now allowed for players under 18 and younger. 
  • Size restrictions on groups have been amended from 20 to the ‘minimum required for the sport’ across all age groups.

A  great morning was had by all at our Newroos Try Out Day on Saturday 20 June.

A huge thank you to Newroos Co-ordinator Max, U12’s Coach John, Vice President Frank, Assistant Secretary Karen, Senior Men’s Coach Matt, Senior Men’s Players Macmillan and Jesse and Senior Women Players Cara and Natalie for their assistance.

How to register- 

To register your child to our Newroos program please go to the Play Football website. Select the registration package named: NEWROOS U4-U7 and complete the details required. 

The registration fee is automatically attached: $300.00. Payment can only be made via credit/debit card.

The FFA support centre is open to all players, coaches, and volunteers.

Club communication – 

ACSC uses an app called TEAM APP to share all Club information and news.

Team App can be downloaded on Android and iPhone. 

Download the app then search for Altona City Soccer Club 2020 and your team – NEWROOS 2020  – to link to our club information.

As of 1 June 2020 

With the further easing of restrictions, Altona City Soccer Club has updated its Return to Training Guidelines as of the 1 June 2020. 
Please remember we are still training under guidelines laid out by Football Victoria, the State Government, and Hobsons Bay City Council.
