No fees for our Senior Women in 2022!

Club Announcement

2022 will be Fee-Free for our Senior Women’s team!

14 November 2021

The executive committee of Altona City Soccer Club is delighted to announce that the Senior Women’s team will be hitting the pitch with no fees, no uniform costs, or registration costs for season 2022. This has been a goal that the executive committee has been working towards and after a discussion with long-term sponsor Peter Sadler has come to fruition.  To say that we are delighted about what the future holds for female participation in football at ACSC is an understatement!

The executive committee and the team at Peter Sadler recognise that gender diversity is a driver for organisational performance and it goes beyond doing the right thing, it is good for business, sport, team building, and our community as a whole.

Senior Women’s Coach Gustavo Flores has 30 years of experience coaching women and girls and is committed to taking the team to the next level with a emphasis on skill-building, discipline, determination, and teamwork. Gustavo is also focused on creating a team that our junior girls can aspire to be a part of.

This commitment and defining a pathway in the development of female participation at Altona City align with the club’s focus of Football Victoria’s goal of equal female participation by 2025.

Nicolas & Dahnil selected for the Melbourne Victory Pre- Academy

Fantastic news that two of our U111 Kanga Boys, Nicolas, and Dahnil have been selected for the Melbourne Victory’s Pre-Academy.

The Pre-Academy provides players (girls U9 – U14 & boys U9-U12) a platform to enhance their skills alongside Victory’s technical coaches in a weekly training environment at one of five venues across metropolitan Melbourne. The curriculum focuses on ball mastery and key technical components and is the pathway into the youngest Academy team at the Under-13 level.

Congratulations to the boys on their selection, our ACSC community wishes you every success in your soccer journey. 🙌
