The Grassroots Football Project
For anyone interested in the history of soccer in Australia and the players that have achieved what every young soccer player dreams about, representing their country, The Grassroots Football Project website is an informative and interesting read.
The mission of the Grassroots Football Project is to provide a place for Australian football players that have represented Australia as a Matilda or Socceroo to give back to their Grassroots club by nominating and acknowledging the grassroots club that they started their soccer journey with.
Altona City Soccer Club is proud to have five players nominate Altona City Soccer Club as their grassroots club.
#242 – Mike Micevski
#265 – Peter Laumets
#292 – Alan Davidson
#352 – Vlado Bozinovski
#545 – Jason Davidson
**the numbers next to the player’s names are their official FFA cap numbers.
