Since 1965

 Altona City SC

Our club was founded in 1965. In season 2020 we celebrate our 55th anniversary!

In late 2019, our logo was updated to better reflect our history – four foundational countries that contributed to our establishment and growth. They are England, Scotland, Malta and Italy.

Our logo represents all four countries symbolically (clockwise from top):

The Saint George Cross – a component of the Union Jack, representative of England.

The Lion Rampant – a strong component of Scottish Coat of Arms representative of Scotland.

The Lily of Florence – a strong component of Dutch coat of arms, representative of the Netherlands. Also associated with Italy.

The Maltese Cross – representative of Malta.

Between 1977 and 1981 the club played in the Victorian State League. Our notable alumni include Socceroos great Alan Davidson and his son, current Socceroo Jason.

Alan joined Altona City Soccer Club as Coaching Director in 2019 and is an integral part of our club’s Executive Committee.  We are proud of the number of Socceroos this club has produced and is currently one of the major development clubs in Victoria.

Right Back

Sophia’s father is her greatest influence.

She enjoys the great friends and coach at the club and aims to be a supportive member of the senior women’s team.

Center Back

ACSC is where Darren’s soccer career started and he has many good memories from his junior years at the Club. He previously played for North Sunshine FC and is looking forward to returning to the pitch at Kim Reserve in 2020.

Darren is impressed with the great group of young and experienced players in this year’s Senior Men’s team and is confident they can surprise a lot of their opposition.  Darren is calling on all the ACSC supporters to get behind the team in 2020 and be their 12th man.
