 FAQs

  • Our home ground is HC Kim Reserve – Millers Rd, Altona (opposite Cherry Lake).

FFV matches are played on a Sunday, with younger teams starting first (around 9am) through to older teams starting mid-afternoon (around 3pm). Times may vary depending on pitch availability. NewRoos (ages 4-6) sessions are held on Saturday mornings at the Club.

  • Trials for the age groups U7 to U16 are held in November for the coming season which runs from April to September.

An online form (jotform) will be available on the Altona City website closer to the commencement of trials. We ask that interested parties fill out this form prior to arriving at the trials to assist with coordination and management of numbers.

  • ACSC use Play Football Online Registration. Play Football Online registration will be ready for online registrations for ACSC in February. Information and instructions will be distributed.

  • MiniRoos runs from April to September.

The 2022 Junior season starts on 24 April 2022.

The Senior Men’s season runs from March to September

The Senior Women’s season runs from April to September

  • Players are required to provide personal gear including soccer boots, shin guards and water bottle (shin guards are mandatory and must be worn at every match and training session).

  • Registration fees are different based on the different needs/costs of squads through all age groups and range from $300 to $945 (based on 2022 fee schedule).

The fees include playing kits (shirt, shorts, socks), track top, kitbag, participation in the appropriate FV league (registration), player registration (FFA and FV), all training equipment (balls, cones, bibs, poles), coaching fees (including education), referee fees (u13+) and all training costs (ground maintenance/lighting).

It is important to note that fees are a once off payment (payable in pre-season) for the whole season with no add on costs unless squads compete in extra tournaments or activities.

  • The club is Child-Safe with all volunteers and committee members holding a valid working with children check.

We adhere to the Vic Sport child-safe standards.

  • From time to time, ACSC organises informal and friendly pre-and post-season competitions with other clubs, including our own Tony Cassar Lightning Cup. Some of our teams also participate in the Kanga Cup, AFS Shepparton Tournament and other club tournaments.

  • There are several activities where assistance would be greatly appreciated. For home games, parents are expected to help with duties such as assisting with setup and/or packing up equipment, linesperson, team marshaling, etc. Each week, regardless of venue, there is a parent roster providing oranges for the players.

Throughout our 56 years as a club, we have relied on the hard work and determination of our volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering please email our volunteer co-ordinator at – secretary@altonacitysc.com
